About
Campus fashion, shared
MyCampusClosets started with a simple observation: college closets are full of clothes that get worn once — and campus events never stop coming. We built a platform where students can rent from each other, earn from what they already own, and never buy an outfit they'll only wear once.
What We Believe
Style is personal, not expensive
You shouldn't need a designer budget to express yourself. Renting from your campus gives you access to pieces you'd never buy full price — and that's the point.
Trust starts with proximity
Every user is a verified student at your school. No anonymous sellers, no cross-country shipping, no guesswork. You can meet on campus, inspect the piece, and pick it up between classes.
Closets are better when they circulate
The average American buys 68 garments a year. Most of those sit in a closet. We think the best outfit for Saturday's event might already be hanging in someone else's dorm.
The Story
MyCampusClosets was born at the University of Georgia, where a closet full of game day looks and formal pieces sparked a question: what if every student on campus could shop from each other?
We're building the platform we wish existed as students — occasion-driven browsing for Game Day, Formals, Date Night, and more. Campus pickup instead of shipping. Peer-to-peer trust backed by .edu verification. And a platform that turns your closet into income.
We're starting at UGA, with plans to bring MyCampusClosets to campuses nationwide.
