We collect information you provide directly (name, .edu email, profile details, listing information) and information generated through platform use (rental history, messages, reviews). We use cookies and local storage for authentication and preferences.
We use your information to operate the platform, process rentals and payments, communicate with you, enforce our policies, improve our services, and personalize your experience within your school community.
Your profile, listings, and activity are visible only to verified members of your school community. We enforce strict data separation between schools at the database level.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage, Resend for email) and when required by law.
We use industry-standard encryption, Row Level Security (RLS) policies, and HTTPS throughout the platform. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time via Settings. Account deletion removes your profile and listings; transactional records required for legal compliance are retained per applicable law.
